Microsoft has said it now has more than 160,000 applications available for download from its store mobile applications, Windows Phone, while the company also announced that Windows 8 are now almost 100,000 mobile applications.Further, Microsoft said that more than 200 million downloads were made from the Windows Store every month, so it seems that Microsoft is excited to the fact that Windows Phone is having much success.
Microsoft also said that Windows Phone platform is now the third most popular globally, behind that of Apple iOS and Google it, Android.
Microsoft also said it has sold more smartphones than BlackBerry phones in 33 different markets during the first quarter of this year.
