Samsung confirmed the global market leader

Reputable research company IDC has published its figures for the mobile phone market for Q2 2013. According to the latest numbers, the global growth of mobile phone market grew by 6% during the second quarter of 2013.Manufacturers of mobile phones sold in total 432.1 million mobile phones during the quarter, compared with 407.7 million were sold during the second quarter of 2012.Total Samsung has sold 72.4 million units, taking 30.4% market share which puts him in the position of market leader globally. Apple ranked second with 31.2 million iPhone units sold, to 13.1% of the total market.Nokia is in third place with 12.1 million units sold, followed by Lenovo, which ranks as the fourth with 11.3 million units sold, and ZTE in fifth place with 10.1 million units, aka s sold during the quarter
