Mario Balotelli missed the meeting, representing the absence of large, but not proved inferior Gilardino, who was quite dangerous. Italy showed good performance until the end, showing solid, but it was not enough.

The first half was very dynamic, with both teams attacked, but it was Spain that had the best cases. Fernando Torres was very close, when that failed after a fine move to get a Red Storm.

In the second part ran a very balanced game and at times monotonous, making the challenge of moving into sequels after regular time score was goalless equal.

In many sequels changed the game. Beginning with the first part of Italy was close overtime when Giaccherini shot column perpendicular to Iker Casillas, who had no unlikely in this case.

Spain in the second overtime was even more dangerous than Italy. Pressure mounted behind a column and Xavi were several attacks that almost ended in the Italian port.

In the end, the challenge had to be decided by penalties. All the players were in the form of penalties and appeared safe, as legendary goalkeepers Casillas and Buffon were unlikely. In the end, Bonucci failed sending the ball over, and Spain qualified for the final.

Meet Spain in the final host, Brazil, a challenge that takes place on Sunday at the legendary stadium, Maracana
