Why does cancer spread?

In a breakthrough that could save millions of lives, a study has identified the mechanism of the effect known as' follows and run ", where the diseased cells and follow the sound of each other anywhere in the body.
The discovery, by researchers 'University College London', can lead to a revolutionary therapy that blocks the action and keeps tumors surrounded.
Cancer takes life more than 150,000 each year in the UK, but the spokesman of the study, Professor Roberto mejor, said: "Most of the deaths are not caused due to the formation of the primary tumor.
Instead, people die from secondary tumors that originate from the front of malignant cells, which are able to travel and to colonize the body's vital organs such as the lungs or brain. "He then added that this is because the cells of healthy ones pushing them to follow them.
"No one knew how this happened and now believe that we have discovered this," he said. "If so, it would be relatively easy to create drugs that interfere with this interaction." The study, published in 'Nature Cell Biology' used two types of stem cells to simulate the roles of cancer cells and healthy.
